OUR CONSULTATION PROCESS
Pre-Consult

As soon as you book in, you’ll receive a link to fill out an online intake form. Simply fill it out and submit it 24 hours before our consult, and I’ll thoroughly assess it. This means that by the time we meet, I’ll have all the information I need to start uncovering the root cause of what’s causing you grief.

Initial Consult (Phase 1)

I’ve already got a list of questions at the ready, so this consult helps me further refine my understanding of the internal drivers of your skin, scalp or hair complaint. By the end of this consult, I’ll be able to piece together and deliver precisely what I think is going on and how we will address it. I’ll also be able to tell you specifically which general or functional pathology testing may be indicated in your case. Sometimes it can feel like it’s a lot of information to take in, but don’t worry about a thing. I’ve got you!

A few days after our initial consult, I’ll send you an email that clearly details your entire treatment plan. It includes your health goals, the naturopathic understanding of what’s causing your skin and body imbalances, a 3 phase treatment plan, what to discuss with your GP, including dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and I even include tips and tricks to get you started and keep you motivated.

If prescribed, I’ll outline how to take your herbs and supplements, AND if indicated, a referral for the GP and guidelines for functional pathology testing will be included.

Follow-up consult (Phase 2)

This consult is scheduled for 2 weeks after your initial and provides you with an in-depth, functional analysis of your general pathology blood tests. In addition, I’ll assess 7 days of your dietary intake and review your response to Phase 1 treatment. If you are experiencing barriers to following any recommendations, I’ll come up with strategies to help you smash them and stay on track.

Any tweaks or additions to your prescription will be based on the evidence provided by your blood tests, and I’ll optimise your diet with food as medicine additions and abundance rather than unsustainable restriction and avoidance. All of this is personalised, customised and tailored, especially for you!

Follow-up consult (Phase 3)

This consult is scheduled 4 weeks later to give you plenty of time to process and implement Phase 2 and to give the herbs and supplements a chance to work their magic. By this time, your functional gut or hormone test results have been released, and I’ve already assessed and researched the findings.

When we meet, I’m ready to deliver the most thorough analysis of your gut or hormones. Plus, an easy-to-follow treatment strategy is discussed and then emailed to you with clear instructions on how to proceed.

Ongoing Support

Ongoing consults are 15, 30 or 45 minutes long, and you are only ever charged for the amount of time we spend together. Remember, realistic timeframes for your skin or hair condition have already been discussed at the initial consult, and ongoing support is typically scheduled every 4-6 weeks. Please note that timeframes also depend on your compliance, your unique response to treatment and the nature of your skin or hair complaint.
