PAEDIATRIC NATUROPATHY

Building Healthy Foundations for Strong Children and Teenagers.

PROVIDING YOU WITH PRACTICAL TOOLS AND EDUCATION TO RESTORE AND PROMOTE YOUR CHILD’S HEALTH.

Early life experiences can shape and impact children’s long-term mental and emotional well-being. As children grow from babies to young children to adolescents, they transition through various physical and mental changes.

When children are young, they can’t (or may find it hard to) communicate their needs, so using available resources to support their wellbeing ensures they flourish into their later years.

Naturopathic foundations of health aim to provide your child with a sense of wellbeing and independence by using safe, non-toxic and effective therapies to uncover, treat and heal underlying illnesses.

Suppose your baby, child or teenager is suffering from cradle cap, eczema, dermatitis, itchy rashes, fungal skin infections, cystic acne or back acne. We specialise in assessing and treating these specific skin conditions from a holistic perspective, one that considers hormonal imbalances, gut issues, sleep problems or mood disorders.

Once we assess your child’s health, we supply a personalised treatment plan to ensure they are confident, healthy, and nourished from the inside out.

RESTORING YOUR CHILD’S HAPPINESS AND VITALITY

We are committed and driven to achieving your child’s health goals in a safe and supportive environment. All our treatment options are practical and easy to follow and can include options such as; food as medicine, herbal medicine, nutritional/mineral therapy, homeopathy and flower essences.

By thoroughly investigating your child’s health history alongside functional testing, we work to uncover the root causes of skin issues to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.

To better understand the root cause of skin conditions, we combine.

Our Consultation Process
Pre-Consult

As soon as you book in, you’ll receive a link to fill out an online intake form. Simply fill it out and submit it 24 hours before our consult, and we’ll thoroughly assess it. This means that by the time we meet you and your child, we’ve got all the information we need to hit the ground running and get to the root cause of what’s causing them grief!

Initial Consult (Phase 1)

We’ve already got a list of questions at the ready, so this consult helps us further refine our understanding of the internal drivers of your child’s skin, scalp or hair complaint. By the end of this consult, we’ll be able to piece together and deliver exactly what we think is going on and how we will address it.

Sometimes it can feel like it’s a lot of information to take in, but don’t worry about a thing. We’ve got you. A few days after our initial consult, we’ll send you an email that details the entire treatment plan.

It includes foundational Naturopathic principles; dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and we include tips and tricks to get you started and keep you and your child on track. We’ll outline how to help your child take their herbs and supplements if prescribed. A referral for the GP and guidelines for functional pathology testing will be included if indicated.

Follow-up consult (Phase 2)

A few days after our initial consult, we’ll send you an email that clearly details your child’s entire treatment plan. It includes their health goals, the naturopathic understanding of what’s causing their skin and body imbalances, a 3 phase treatment plan, what to discuss with your GP, including dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and we even include tips and tricks to get you started and keep you motivated.

If prescribed, we’ll outline how to take your herbs and supplements, AND if indicated, a referral for the GP and guidelines for functional pathology testing will be included.

Follow-up consult (Phase 3)

This consult is scheduled 4 weeks later to give you plenty of time to process and implement Phase 2 and to give the herbs and supplements a chance to work their magic. By this time, your child’s functional test results have been released, and we’ve assessed and researched the findings.

An easy-to-follow treatment strategy is discussed and then emailed to you with clear instructions on how to proceed.

Ongoing Support

Ongoing consults are 15, 30 or 45 minutes long, and you are only ever charged for the amount of time we spend with you and your child. Remember, realistic timeframes for your child’s skin or hair condition have already been discussed at the initial consult, and ongoing support is typically scheduled every 4-6 weeks. Please note that timeframes also depend on your child’s compliance, their response to treatment and the nature of your child’s skin or hair complaint.

Remember:
-  Our team is here to support you and your child EVERY step of the way.
-  Timeframes and ALL costs are provided upfront and ongoing.
-  Before making ANY recommendation, YOUR life circumstances,  commitments, responsibilities and budget are considered  and respected.
