PATHOLOGY TESTING

General & Functional Pathology testing is your skin & hair game changer! This is where you FINALLY get the answers you’ve been searching for!
General Pathology Testing: Phase 1 & 2

These are the blood tests from the GP that are usually covered by Medicare.

You may have had blood tests in the past and were told “everything’s fine”, but still present with skin, scalp or hair concerns.

Here’s the reason why

-  When your GP looks at your blood tests, they look for results that fall OUTSIDE the reference
range. If your results don’t fall outside those ranges, your GP typically doesn’t have an answer
    for you

-  When those same tests are assessed from a Functional Naturopathic Perspective, what I’m
looking for are OPTIMAL ranges, that lie WITHIN the reference range.

This is where you get the answers you’ve been looking for!

Simply put, If You’re Not In Optimal, You’re Not Optimal!

How do you get to optimal? With simple dietary & lifestyle strategies mostly, sometimes supplements, sometimes herbs.

Also, when it comes to skin, scalp and hair problems, there are SPECIFIC blood tests that need to be considered. These specific ones may never have been requested by your GP.

I work closely with amazing GPs in both Melbourne & Sydney, who I refer to all the time, who will listen to you and who will never dismiss or shame you for choosing to see a Naturopath.

Functional Pathology Testing: Phase 3

The analogy I love to use when talking to my clients about the healing process is akin to building a house. First you start with laying down the foundations (Phase 1) and then you build the walls (Phase 2) and then finally, you put on the roof (Phase 3).

Functional Pathology Testing is part of my Phase 3 - and it’s impacts on healing your skin & hair from the inside-out are Phenomenal!

Most clients with Skin & Hair complaints typically have issues and imbalances in their Gut and with their Hormones. The top two tests utilised in my practice are;

Gut: GI Map or the GI360

Hormones: DUTCH test

MY PROMISE TO YOU

Functional tests are always brought in as a Phase 3 strategy because your skin, scalp or hair issue may resolve with Phase 1 & 2 treatment alone. Given that Functional Pathology tests are not covered by Medicare and incur out of pocket cost, my duty of care is to ensure that I have fully actioned Naturopathic, Foundational, Low-Cost Options FIRST. My promise to you is that I do not make any money from any pathology testing I authorise, you always pay the company directly.

So how does it work?
  1. I authorise the test best suited to your case

  2. The pathology lab sends you an email

  3. You nominate the address you want the test kit sent out to and you pay the lab directly

  4. They send you the kit, you collect samples in the privacy of your own home and then mail them back

  5. It takes 4-6 weeks to get results

  6. Once results are in, we schedule a consult, I email results to you 15 minutes prior to our appointment

  7. In the consult, I go through the findings with you, page by page and provide you with a holistic treatment plan

  8. I send you a follow up email clearly outlining all of the steps to take
